Negril, Jamaica is known for it’s Seven Mile Beach, here are seven other experiences you can only find there.
To start off, there’s something to do every hour of the day. Outside of the beach and on the beach, there’s plenty of fun.
1. One Love Bar Crawl
A colorful reggae bus picks you up at your hotel and drives a group of you to 7 or 8 different bars around Negril. Easy as that!
2. Donkey Races on the Beach
This Valentines Day (February 14) take your date to watch donkeys race on Negril Beach. A colorful and fun spectacle for local charity held by Negril Rotary.
3. Booby Cay Island
Just off Negril’s shore sits a little island, Booby Cay, named after the Booby birds there. Boats go there for its spectacular snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming. Mostly famous for its many scenes in the movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
5. Glass Bottom Boat
You can arrange for a glass bottom boat to pick you up anywhere on Negril Beach to view the gorgeous underwater scenery. You can also take a sunset boat from your hotel to Rock House for dinner and then
6. Cliff Divers
Ricks Café is resting on the cliffs edge in west end Negril. Take a jump into the crystal clear water, while you watch dare-devil divers do leap from the tree tops.
7. Sunsets on the West End
Negril is located at the most western tip of Jamaica. The seven miles of beach situated against the cliffs, just makes for the most amazing sunsets.
