🍎Merry Hearted Cidery in Gladwin – Choose from over 20 flavors of hard cider – try a flight to sample a few or a full glass! The apples and fruits used to make the cider are locally grown & use no artificial flavors. Bonus if you’re visiting with children – The Fruitful Orchard & Cider Mill share the space! So pop in next door for some “soft” cider & donuts. Food trucks, swings, and backyard games are also set up out back so it’s a fun place for all!

🍷@blackstarfarms in Sutton’s Bay – If you’re looking for a fun romantic day trip this winter, look no further than Black Star Farms in Sutton’s Bay! Take advantage of their Snowshoes, Vines & Wines on Saturday’s when it’s snowy. Explore up to 4 different trails around the winery & vineyards. Then warm up to mulled wine on their patio. We loved our time here so much we joined their wine club!

🍻@hoplotbrewingco in Sutton’s Bay – Hop Lot offered igloo dining back before (you know what) reared its ugly head! And if you think about, it is an awesome concept! Hop Lot embraces the outdoors and all 4 beautiful seasons Michigan offers. Before you go, visit their website to see if they allow reservations or it’s first come, first serve (changes often). There are also fire pits and other open air picnic tables to sit at. If visiting with little ones, we LOVED the igloos- it keeps all that excitement contained within the dome. And the beer & food are delicious & served up fast!

🍻 @onewellbrewing in Kalamazoo. This spot is super close to the Air Zoo and makes a great day trip. With awesome food, tons of games and pinball machines, my kids didn’t want to leave!

🍷 @horrocksfarmmarket in Lansing. Having a drink before shopping for gourmet goodies is SO ridiculously fun. The kids can check out the plants and enjoy the sunshine and then get rewarded with some bulk candy 🍭

For at-home game nights with the kids, we love picking up some local brews or wine from some of our favorite local spots – @eternitybrewing, @aberrant_ales or the @howellwinery or mixing a cocktail with Michigan based @inboozekits 😋

@badbrewing in Mason, MI Want amazing customer service and a friendly atmosphere? You’ve come to the right place. You’ll love the patio here for your family. Their event calendar will help you find events such as live music and trivia night. They have food that is mainly Michigan sourced (have to love that!) They are still testing kitchen hours to see what best serves their customers, make sure to head to their website for the latest.

If it wasn’t already the perfect stop for family fun @unclejohns_cidermill recently added the Cider Yard! The yard is open on Saturdays and Sundays 12-6pm. There is outside seating, games, bonfire pits, and different cider options. Be sure to check their website for when food trucks and live music are available!

@spicerswinery in Fenton, features a variety of fruit wines and hard ciders. They even have a grille that has a kids menu. A trip to the @spicerorchards and winery guarantees a day of fun for the whole family.
