Events

Brews & Brushes – Mt. Pleasant (Virtual)

Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Brews & Brushes is a monthly, step-by-step acrylic painting class led by experienced and creative instructors from Art Reach of Mid Michigan. Cost is $30, Guests are invited to bring a friend, a favorite beverage & a little creativity. We will provide supplies & help you paint your own masterpiece on a 16×20 canvas to take home! This one-time easy class is the perfect place for painters of any skill level! This class will be virtual. Village of Ashley Country Christmas – ASHLEY

Saturday & Sunday, November 20 – December 19, 2021 at 11 am & 7 pm

Visit Ashley, Michigan for a magical trip back in time to the 1940’s. As the destination of the North Pole Express, the historic steam engine takes two trips per day, rolling into town at 11am and 7pm, each Saturday and Sunday. Chesaning Candle Walk – Chesaning

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26 & 27, 2021 AT 6 PM – 9 PM

Please join us at Cole Park for the 2021 Chesaning Candle Walk on Friday, November 26 and Saturday, November 27 from 6-9 pm each night. The streets will be lined with traditional luminaries and Christmas lights with gingerbread houses on display in storefront windows. Christmas-themed chalk art and inflatable decorations will line the walking path in Cole Park, and food and craft vendors will be located on the walking path near the Village offices. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will have live reindeer on display, weather permitting, as well as horse drawn carriage rides. Christmas Charity Ball 2021 – Carson City

A Little Patch of Heaven’s annual Christmas Ball. Donations are given to the Carson City Crystal Area Adopt a Family Program, the Mentorship Program, the Music Program and the Kids Care Closet. We feel that these are all very important programs to support as they make sure our local kids are taken care of both mentally and physically and let them know they are loved! Christmas Walk at Dow Gardens – Midland

Stroll the gently-lit pathway of Dow Gardens each evening. Meet Santa’s reindeer, and listen to carolers sing the songs of the season. Be sure to warm up in the festive conservatory and experience a dramatic display of poinsettias, while enjoying the merry sound of a live string quartet.

3rd annual Christmas Cocoa at Freedom Ride Farms. Have Hot Cocoa with the animals. Parades

Golf Cart Parade and Tree Lighting – Chesaning

Showboat Park Meet us at Showboat Park to participate in the second annual, first IN PERSON golf cart parade!! Want to enjoy the parade without all the added work? NO PROBLEM! Parade begins at 5:30pm and is heading down Front Street, grab your bag chairs and blankets and enjoy the spectacle! Parade is ending at Riverfront Grille where Santa will light the RFG Christmas Tree. There will be PRIZES for best decorated participating vehicle, bulb decorating inside RFG and TONS MORE FUN! Small Town Family Christmas and Lighted Parade – St. Louis

Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 6 PM

St. Louis kicks off the holiday season with its Small Town Family Christmas parade and reception with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The first Thursday in December at 6:00 p.m. a lighted Christmas parade begins at the intersection of Mill and North Street. The route follows Mill Street south to Saginaw, where it turns east and concludes near St. Louis High School. After the parade, little ones can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the St. Louis High School Cafetorium at 113 East Saginaw Street. Often other businesses and organizations get in on the festivities. To register a walking group or float for the parade, please submit an entry form by Friday, November 26th.

Our Hometown Christmas and Santa Parade – Ithaca

Downtown Mt. Pleasant Downtown Mt. Pleasant will transform into a winter wonderland for the annual Mt. Pleasant Christmas Celebration on December 3 and 4. The festivities on Friday night will include a Community Christmas Sing-Along, Candy Cane Lane children’s carnival games, hay rides and new in 2021 a Winter Market with artisans, specialty crafts and food vendors. The celebration continues on Saturday beginning with the Jingle All-The-Way 5Mile Run and 5K Walk/Run and Pancakes with Santa. Children young and old will delight as fireworks light up the night sky following the Lighted Christmas Parade.
