Stop At Anderson & Girls Orchard
We have so much fun on the farm at Anderson & Girl’s, between the free petting zoo with over 140 animals to the orchards! There is also a Sweet Shop with ice cream and meals, bakery and farm market. We especially love the cider and donuts, combo in the fall, oh who am I kidding, we get it every time we go.
There’s also a pretty big pirate ship playground with tube slides and peacocks walking about!
Catch Live Music & Handcrafted Cider At Uncle John’s Cider Mill
In the Spring, the Apple Orchard is in full blossom with hundreds of fluffy flowering apple trees. The dreamy golden Sunflower Fields come to life around mid-summer, this our absolute favorite time to visit! We pick Sunflower bouquets while sipping on cider and snacking on donuts. I am obsessed with the U Pick Sunflowers, Pumpkins, Zinnias, Apples and so much more!
Play At Lumberjack & Rivermen’s Park
Lumberjack Park, as we call it, has been our go to spot for family fun my whole life! As a child, my grandma lived in the log cabin at the park as her parents were the caretakers. It’s the perfect place to cool down on a warm summer day.
We usually visit to play in the river and at the huge play area, but recently added hiking and camping to our Lumberjack Park favorites, too!
There are also horseshoes, baseballs fields, live music events and rental space available for events, from weddings to tractor pulls.
